My Favourite Smoothies
We are on a smoothie drinking spree. It started three weeks ago and so far it has been awesome. We drink a different one every morning. This morning we had this orange-cantaloupe smoothie with yoghurt. It was lovely. I used unsweetened yoghurt so it wasn’t very sweet, but if you want it sweeter you’ll need to either use a flavoured yoghurt or some sweetener of your choice.
Tomorrow we want to start making green smoothies. I bought a huge bunch of Kale today, I have some avocados in my fruit basket and am thinking of getting some Kiwi fruit. Sounds delicious, doesn’t it? Look out for this space. They’ll be tonnes of green smoothies coming by. I hope you’re enjoying your summer. Ours is great. Orange Cantaloupe and Yoghurt Smoothie
Preparation time: 5 minutes Serves: 3 x 280ml cups
- 2 cups fully packed, diced cantaloupe
- 1 cup orange juice (100% pure orange, boxed or freshly squeezed)
- 1 cup plain, unsweetened yoghurt (if you want a sweet smoothie, add flavoured/sweetened yoghurt)
- Combine everything and blend till smooth. Serve.
