Light, Fresh and Subtly, aromatic
A few months ago I stopped taking pop, flavoured yoghurts and most of the boxed fruit drinks that taste very nice but nevertheless, are loaded with so much sugar.
And now, I am on a tea drinking spree.…oh yes TEA! what a bliss!
For every 300ml mug of tea, I add 1 heaped teaspoon of sugar (that’s exactly 7g of sugar). I take on average 4 mugs of tea day so that’s a total of 28g of sugar, on an average day.
Last week I drunk Twinings Cleansing Fennel, Tea. How can I describe this tea? It’s light and fresh with a subtle and lingering fennel-aniseed like aroma, from the sweet fennel seeds. I love this tea! I bought this one on a trip to Kenya and I am so in love with the packaging. The ones in Canada looks different, I don’t know why….
Twinnings is my favourite tea brand. I have had more than 50 teas from Twinings, but I never used to post them so…I can’t even remember some of them.
Here is a little statistics to mull over
- 200ml of Allen Juice has 19g of sugar
- 200ml of Kool Aid has 17g of sugar
- 250ml of most flavoured yoghurts have 38g sugar…
I have to loose this weight round my middle and for me, tea is the answer!
Have lovely day!!!!!
