My Favourite Smoothies
Summer just began a few days ago and so far it has been wonderful with great temperatures, not too hot and not too cold. I love it!!!! This summer I plan to make fifty different smoothies so watch this space. I shall keep on posting as I make and drink of course…..
Last time I made a mango smoothie with yoghurt. It was so delicious. Today I omitted the yoghurt and added bananas. The mango pulp is from India and is too sweet so I added a cup of water to moderate the sweetness.
Mango Banana and Cantaloupe Smoothie
Preparation time: 5 minutes Serves: 3 x 250ml cups
- 1 cup diced cantaloupe
- 2 large ripe bananas, sliced
- 1 cup canned, unsweetened mango pulp (store bought)
- 1 cup orange juice, preferably fresh or 100% juice
- 1 cup cold water
- Combine everything and blend till smooth. Serve.
