Four Variations of Balsamic Dressing
We are eating lots of Bbqued food these days. The weather is so good, how can we not? I thought I would share with some salads and dressings for the summer season. Enjoy!!!!
1. Balsamic Vinegar Dressing with Honey and Mustard: This dressing has been used in the following recipes: Bean and Vegetable Salad
2. Balsamic Vinegar Dressing with Garlic: This dressing has been used in the following recipes: Pasta Salad with Tomatoes, Arugula and Feta
3. Balsamic Vinegar Dressing: This dressing has been used in the following recipes: Warm Pasta Salad with Chicken
4. Warm Balsamic Vinegar Dressing with White Wine: This dressing has been used here: Warm Potato Salad with Artichoke
1. Balsamic Vinegar Dressing with Honey and Mustard
- Ingredients for Dressing (you can double or triple as required)
- 3 tablespoons olive oil
- 2 tablespoons balsamic vinegar
- I clove garlic crushed
- 1 teaspoon honey
- 1 teaspoon herb or Dijon mustard
- Salt and freshly ground pepper to taste.
To Make Dressing: mix all ingredients in a small jar and shake thoroughly to mix. Add salt and pepper to taste.
2. Balsamic Vinegar Dressing with Garlic
Ingredients for Salad Dressing (You can double or triple as required)
- 2 tablespoon balsamic vinegar
- 2 tablespoons olive oil
- 1-2 clove garlics crushed
- Salt and pepper to taste
Please assemble all ingredients before you start
To make dressing: combine all dressing ingredients in a jar and shake well to combine. Season with salt and pepper.
3. Balsamic Vinegar Dressing
Ingredients for Salad Dressing (You can double or triple as required)
- 3 tablespoon balsamic vinegar
- 2 tablespoons olive oil
- Salt and pepper to taste
Instructions
For the balsamic vinegar dressing mix balsamic vinegar and olive oil and shake thoroughly. Add salt and pepper to taste. If you prefer more dressing, double the amount.
4. Warm Balsamic Vinegar Dressing with White Wine
Ingredients for Salad Dressing (You can double or triple as required)
- 3 tablespoon balsamic vinegar
- 2 tablespoons good quality Medium Dry White Wine
- Salt and pepper to taste
Instructions
Heat the balsamic vinegar and wine in a skillet. Tilt the pan to swirl and mix the vinegar and wine. Season dressing with salt and pepper to taste. Use hot.
