Another week is over

‘Everybody is shovelling’

I think it is okay to say we are “ drowning in snow.” Southern Ontario had a snowstorm since last night. Today, our driveway had at least 15 inches of snow. We spent a better part of the day shoveling (all schools, colleges and universities were closed). At moments like this, you really wish you had a snow blower. But, the fumes that come from those things and the fact that you rarely have to use them, and anyway, I love shoveling snow. It gives my arms a good workout. Now, the storm is over, but our neighbors in the US northeast are still feeling the brunt.

“Oh my god, another snowstorm!”

First, we had to unearth the front door stairs.

Then, began the painstaking process of shovelling.

We thought the roof was going to collapse under the weight of the snow.
