Banana Pineapple Bread with Coconut

How can I describe it? Crunchy coconut and sticky lime at the top. Subtle pineapple and banana flavour and aroma. Not too sugary but very moist and pleasant. Once you start eating, you can’t stop. If you love over the top sugary cakes then perhaps this wasn’t meant for you! Have a wonderful week! The original recipe is from Ricardocuisine.com. Continue reading

Rachel Allen’s Cheesecake Brownies

My Favourite Cakes

Rachel Allen's Cheesecake Brownies myfavouritepastime.comI saw Rachel Allen make these brownies on TV some 4 weeks ago and the next day we had them for dessert. They are moist and not over-the-top-sugary. If you love lots of sugar, suit your palate and add 150-180g. I have since made them three times and they never last 2 hours. If you are planning to make them, please make sure you do not over-bake them. The middle should be slightly wobbly when you remove them from the oven.  I wish you a happy weekend! Continue reading

Peach and Almond Cake

My Favourite Cakes

Marbled Chocolate and Lime Crumble Cake myfavouritepastime.comThis cake is made from the basic pound cake recipe with small modifications. I am not supposed to be eating cake but I ate a large slice anyway. I felt so guilty afterwards…but what to do? Have a great week! Continue reading
